The Baldwin Park Teen Center is open to the community during the summer and also serves as a “Cooling Center”. Children 12 and under
must be accompanied by an adult. At the Teen Center, we have various activities for the youth from pool to ping pong, video games and board
games. We have scheduled activities daily that range from crafts, games, movie nights, cooking lessons, and tournaments. We also have
monthly events such as Family Game Night where the Teen Center is open to all ages for families to come and enjoy the facility. Other events
range from holiday themed nights, for example the Halloween Reptile Show - which many of the teens enjoyed learning about the animals.
Back by popular demand based on the positive teen comments are the BBQ’s. All these activities are geared toward providing a positive outlet
to gain a better understanding of social issues, participate in community service projects, and to improve one’s confidence and self-esteem.

The Teen Center amenities include:
• 20 foot rock climbing wall
• 9 station Computer Lab
• 60” Samsung TV with surround sound system
• Wii & X-Box gaming consoles
• Kitchen and Snack bar
• Air Hockey Table
• Indoor and outdoor fireplaces
• Outdoor barbeque
• Amphitheater seating for outside performances
• Two (2) Billiards tables
• Foosball tables
• Ping-Pong table
• Variety of board games
VOLUNTEENS
VolunTEENS is a year-round program that features
various community service opportunities that range
from helping out at the Teen Center to assisting with
citywide events and projects. Summer Concerts,
Pride of the Valley 5K, and the Downtown Street
Market are a few of many events that will require
teen volunteers. If interested, sign up with the Teen
Center to get notified of these events as they get
closer with better detail. *The Teen Center does not
sign off on court ordered or probationary hours.

SPECIAL EVENTS
This summer is going to be filled with fun weekly
events that include a variety of exciting activities
and delicious snacks. It’s going to be a fun summer,
make sure you’re here so you don’t miss out!
PIZZA DAY
Enjoy pineapple on your pizza? Love the warm
weather? Then come join us at our tropical themed
week for some hula hoop tournaments and water
themed events.
