For Kids Sake 1st - 5th graders
Instructor: Recreation Staff
The For Kids Sake After School Program is designed for
elementary-aged children (ages 6–12). Participants will enjoy
a variety of fun activities, including crafts, games, and sports
in a group setting. They'll also have the opportunity to learn
new games and receive homework help from the dedicated
staff. (No Kids Sake 9/1, 11/11, 11/24 - 11/28)

We will be using the vans to pick up at Nichols and Bonsall West
Elementary Schools. Space is limited*
Walking pick up is offered for Melba Bishop For Kids Sake Program
at Del Rio at no cost.

SCHOLARSHIP AVAILABLE
The City of Oceanside Parks and Recreation Department
is excited to announce an updated scholarship program,
increasing the annual scholarship allocation to $300 per child,
with an additional $250 per child specifically designated for
summer camps.
Our goal is to expand recreational opportunities, and enhance
the overall health and wellness to support the Oceanside
youth during times of need.

accepted in person at the Parks and Recreation Administration
Office, located in the East Building at 300 North Coast Highway.

REACH PROGRAM
RECREATION EMPLOYMENT READINESS ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS HEALTHY LIFESTYLES
For 11-18 year olds
The City of Oceanside co-sponsors the REACH program at
Libby Lake Resource Center and John Landes Community
Center. The REACH program is an after-school program that
promotes healthy lifestyles among teens, including academic,
social and cultural education. The program focuses on
preventing risky behaviors including: teen pregnancy, school
drop-out, drugs and gangs. Youth ages 11-18 years old in
middle or high school (traditional or alternative schools) are
eligible.
