BAILE FOLKLÓRICO CLASS

Baile Folklórico is a vibrant Mexican dance that celebrates
the rich culture of Mexico through colorful costumes and
lively music. Join us at the Whitten Center to experience the
joy of learning this beautiful dance!
FOOD DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM
In collaboration with Second Harvest Food Bank and
Orange County Food Bank, fresh and non-perishable
food is provided at the Placentia Family Resource
Center. Food distributions are held the 1st and 3rd
Tuesday of the month and non-perishable items are
available daily on an emergency basis.
DONATIONS NEEDED
The City of Placentia’s Neighborhood Services Division needs
a variety of donations. Emergency assistance is distributed
throughout the year for the families and members in our
community. Donations of non-perishable food and hygiene
items can be dropped off Monday - Thursday from 8:30 AM -
5:00 PM at the Whitten Community Center located at 900 S.
Melrose St.
BACKPACKS FOR SUCCESS
Tuesday, August 19th, 2025
11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
The Neighborhood Office holds an annual Backpack event
where parents can pre-register their school aged children
who attend PLYUSD or reside in the City of Placentia. The
child will receive a backpack with school supplies inside.
First come, first serve basis. Priority to Placentia students and
residents.
