RIVERSIDE COMMISSIONS:
Honoring Community and
Shaping the Future
In Riverside, community is at the heart of everything we
do — and our city Commissions play a vital role in keeping
it strong.
The Commission on Aging and the Park and Recreation
Commission are made up of dedicated residents who help
shape policies, programs, and celebrations that enhance
quality of life for all.
The Commission on Aging studies senior issues, reviews
programs, and recommends ways to keep Riverside a
Senior-Friendly Community. The Park and Recreation
Commission advises on parks, recreation, and parkways
to ensure our spaces and programs meet community
needs.
In addition to their advisory roles, these Commissions
also celebrate and honor excellence throughout
Riverside, attending city wide events to show support and
recognizing the people who make our city shine. If you’re
passionate about your community, consider applying
to serve on a Commission! Vacancies are open now, and
your perspective could help shape the future of Riverside.
Reach out to City Clerk's Office at (951) 826-5557, to learn
more and apply today.
COA Recognized Betty Gaglio and Rebecca Loomis,

Riverside.
Parks Commission gives appreciation to Juan Antonio
“Tony“ Ramirez for his invaluable time, dedication and
support in making the boxing show accessible to more
fans.
