DEAR ROSEMEAD RESIDENTS,
As the leaves begin to turn and the crisp air of autumn settles in, our community
CITY HALL
prepares for another season filled with the vibrancy and warmth that only fall can bring.
This time of year reminds us of the beauty and bounty that surrounds us, from the
colorful landscapes to the rich traditions that define our City. Our staff has prepared
hundreds of activities for all ages, and we are eager to kick off the much-anticipated fall
recreation season with you!
Our city continues to thrive thanks to the dedication and involvement of residents
like you. Your participation in community events, support for local businesses, and
engagement in civic activities are what make our city a wonderful place to live and
work. As you flip through these pages, please make special note of our many programs
and activities offered throughout the season. Join us in September for our 9/11
Memorial Ceremony, the Moon Festival, and our annual Pumpkin Dive. Then be sure to
mark your calendars for Fall Fiesta, our new Craft Fair, and Trunk or Treat in October. As
winter approaches, the dropping temperatures may tempt you to hibernate indoors.
However, I challenge you to inspire your holiday spirit by taking advantage of the many
traditional holiday celebrations this year. We are excited to have you join us for the
annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Treats with Santa for the Holidays. Thank you for
making the City of Rosemead a great place to live, work, and play. We look forward to
seeing you in our parks!
This fall, I encourage you to take full advantage of the opportunities to connect with
your neighbors, explore our parks and public spaces, and enjoy all that our city has to
offer. Together, we can make this season one of our best yet.
