AFTERSCHOOL

Kindergarten - 5th Grades
August 26, 2025 - June 10, 2026
Location: Signal Hill Youth Center, 1780 E. Hill Street
Days/Hours: Monday-Wednesday & Friday, 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Thursday, 1:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Fee (per 2-week period):
Kindergarten Residents $85/Non-Residents $105
Grades 1st-5th Residents $65/Non-Residents $85
ARC registration for the 2025-2026 school year is open. Children who
will be attending grades Kindergarten through 5th grades for the 2025-
2026 school year are eligible to enroll.
**The ARC program will follow the LBUSD academic school year calendar
for holidays and days that schools are not in session. Fees will increase
in January 1, 2026. Space is limited. For more information, please call

CO-ED YOUTH
FLAG FOOTBALL &
VOLLEYBALL
SPORTS PROGRAM
Ages 5 - 14
August - November
Location: Signal Hill Youth Center - 1780 E. Hill Street
Fee: $23 annual Family Youth Sports Program Registration Fee
$12 Jersey Fee per year per child
Registration: Open now until teams are filled.
New athletes must provide proof of birth date at the time of registration.
A Signal Hill Youth sports jersey is required for all sports seasons. One
jersey can be used for all sports. All fees are paid directly to the City of
Signal Hill. Fees can be paid in person at the Signal Hill Youth Center.
Space is limited. To be added to the program or placed on a waitlist,

SIGNAL HILL
TWEEN PROGRAM
6th - 8th Grades
August 26, 2025 - June 10, 2026
Location: Signal Hill Community Center, 1780 E Hill Street
Days/Hours: Monday - Friday, 2:45 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Fee: $25 (per 2-week period) or $4 per day
The Signal Hill Tween Program is open for registration for the 2025-
2026 school year. Children who will be attending grades 6th through
8th grades for the 2025-2026 school year are eligible to enroll.
**The Tween program will follow the LBUSD academic school year
calendar for holidays and days that schools are not in session. Fees will
increase effective January 1, 2026. Participants will visit the Signal Hill
Public Library on occasion for programming. For more information,

SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarships are available for residents to participate in the Parks, Recreation and Library Services Department’s Programs.
