STORY TIME

JEWEL BOX CHILDREN’S
THEATER COMPANY WORKSHOP Grades 3 - 6
3rd Saturday of the Month, 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Location: Library Learning Center
Explore the magical world of theater at the Signal Hill Public Library.
Classes include theater games and music and serve as a great
introduction to theater, improvisation, and singing. No registration
required & no charge to participate.
BARK: READ TO DOGS Ages 3+
1st Monday of the Month • 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Location: Children’s Area
BARK encourages children to increase their reading skills
and self-confidence by reading aloud to certified therapy
dogs. Children will love to read to these non-judgmental calming
doggies. No registration required.
SENIOR DANCING FOR HEALTH Ages: 55+
Thursdays, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Location: Library Community Room
Join us for this fun-filled line dance class hosted by the United
Cambodian Community of Long Beach. Dancers will learn popular
social dances to join in the fun and show off their dance moves at
parties and other festivities. No registration required.

FIRST FRIDAY BOOK CLUB
1st Friday of the Month, 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Location: Library Community Room
Participants are provided a copy of the selected books, which alternate
between fiction and non-fiction titles. Pre-registration is required to
receive a copy of the book. Light refreshments will be available.

new genre? Join us to discuss the latest romantic comedy book. Light
refreshments will be available. Pre-registration is required to receive
