An introduction to the fascinating world of bird watching,
this presentation teaches the steps to get involved in the very
popular pastime of observing and appreciating the birds all
around the area. Learn the tools, techniques, and strategies that
enable one to locate, observe, identify, and appreciate these
fascinating creatures of the sky.

food delivery services such as Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Grubhub.
It covers account setup, finding restaurant options, placing orders,
making payments, and delivery instructions. It is suggested to
bring a smartphone or tablet for hands-on practice and help
setting up accounts.

There are a few animal behaviors that are as interesting as
annual migrations, and birds are the kings of this activity. Learn
the many different ways that birds migrate and the motivation
behind these mass movements of birds from one geographic
location to another. It’s much bigger than just “birds fly south
for the winter”, and this class talks about why the bigger story is
flying north for the summer!

MD (Neurosurgery). Chronic back pain can limit mobility,
independence, and overall quality of life. Join Dr. Samer Ghostine
for an expert look at common spine-related causes of back pain
in older adults - such as spinal stenosis, disc degeneration,
and lower back pain. Learn when to seek advance care, what
treatment options are available, and how to make informed
decisions about spine health.

BOB DYLAN: A JEWISH LENS
The 1960s saw a surge of talented musicians, with Bob Dylan
standing out as a leading figure whose songwriting rose to
the level of serious literature, earning him the Nobel Prize in
Literature in 2016. Deeply influenced by his Jewish background,
Dylan’s lyrics often draw on Jewish tradition and biblical themes,
particularly the Hebrew prophets. These lectures explore the
Jewish elements in his work and seek to demonstrate the value a
Jewish perspective brings to the overall understanding of his art.
This course is taught using audio, video, text analysis, and group
discussion.
