THE A-LINE
STATION’S
ROLE IN
GLENDORA’S
ECONOMIC
FUTURE
The Glendora Metro A Line Station is anticipated to create
change over time, serving as a catalyst for economic
growth. With train connections to key destinations such as
Pasadena, Los Angeles, and other nearby cities, the station
will improve access to jobs, services, and shopping for both
residents and visitors.
Surrounding the station, the potential for transit-oriented
development along Route 66 and in Glendora Village is
possible. New development can encourage the development
of underused properties to support housing and commercial
opportunities. This growth can create jobs, add housing
options for the next generation, and maintain the city’s tax
revenues.
Additionally, local businesses near the station are likely to
benefit from the station. Shops, restaurants, and services
are likely to see more customers as foot traffic increases.
As time progresses, the Glendora station will allow the
community to maintain economy that supports the residents
and businesses.
