Transportation Division
Welcome to the Transportation Division. If you are
in need of transportation services, give us a call.
Upon qualifying we will be glad to help you out.

Rodriguez Senior Center.

Who Qualifies
Hawaiian Gardens residents, 55 years
of age and above, disabled passengers
5 years and above (Adult Supervision
is required). Doctors' certification will
be needed prior to registering. Upon
registering proof of age and residency
will be required.
Reservations
Make reservations by calling (562) 421-5921
or (562) 420-2641 ext. 241, three (3) days or
more prior to your appointments. If there
is no answer leave a short message, your
name, telephone number, date and time
of your appointment. Your request will be
verified by a return telephone call.
Sorry no appointments will be taken on
Friday for Monday.
PROGRAMS
Senior Lunch Program
Monday – Friday, 10:15 am - 12:30 pm
This program provides rides to our Senior Center Lunch
Program. Our bus will pick you up starting at 10:10 am. The
bus goes throughout the city to pick-up registered residents
60 years of age or older. Please be ready, our driver will honk,
wait a few minutes and then proceed on his route. Those who
miss the bus must call our office at (562) 421-5921 to schedule
future pick-ups.
Curb to Curb Services
Riders must meet the vehicles at the curb. Drivers are not
allowed to leave vehicle.
Red Route Services
Provides transportation for senior citizens and handicapped
residents to and from our local supermarkets. Route scheduled
for Thursday of each week (except holidays), 9:00 am - 10:30am.

Ranch Market, 17713 Pioneer Blvd., in Artesia.
To register to use the system, individuals will need proof of
Hawaiian Gardens residency.
Dial-a-Ride
Available only for Hawaiian Gardens Residents.
Areas Serviced: Hawaiian Gardens; Lakewood; Long Beach;
Downey; Bellflower; Norwalk; Paramount; Artesia; Cerritos;
Los Alamitos; Cypress; and portions of Buena Park.
Emergency services not available.

Wheelchair Accessible
If you have trouble climbing stairs or confined to a wheelchair,
our vehicles are wheelchair equipped to make your trip more
enjoyable.
