CITY NEWS
MCFADDEN PARK PLAYGROUND
RIBBON CUTTING
The City recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony to unveil
the newest park playground renovation project at McFadden
Park. In following the Parks Initiative Plan, McFadden
Park Playground now highlights a beach and lifeguard
theme with new rubberized surfacing incorporating beach
elements. Other additions include an incorporated shade,
a rope climbing cube, swings, retro surfboard sensory play
apparatuses, and new slides. The City extends a sincere
thank you to County of Orange Supervisor Doug Chaffee
for his generous donation of American Rescue Plan Act
funds, which funded the playground renovation.
