Lap Swim
Swimming is the best full body workout! The pool is heated and all
swimmers must be able to swim in deep water. Participants must also
share lanes when space is limited. Lap swim participants must circle
swim if more than two people are occupying a single lane.

AQUATIC SPORTS/TRAINING
Lifeguard Training
Lifeguard certification provides lifeguard participants with the
knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize, and respond to
aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac
emergencies, injuries, and sudden illnesses until emergency medical
services (EMS) personnel take over. Must attend all classes in the
session to obtain the certification. For more information, call (626)

USA SWIM TEAM
ROSEMEAD RAPIDS
Come join the Rosemead Rapids Swim Team. Competitions with
other teams will be announced. Participants must be able to pass
a swim test to participate. Uniforms, gear, and competition fees
are additional. Practice schedule will be determined by group
placement. All participants are required to pay an annual USA Swim
fee of $68 along with monthly fees. Contact head coach for tryouts:
coachscott@rosemeadrapids.org. Child must know freestyle with
side breathing and swim 25 yards nonstop.
