Martial Arts
Excellence & Discipline
Through Martial Arts
INSTRUCTOR: Ernie Torres
LOCATION: Garvey Center - Rm# 102
Our Martial Arts program offers a unique experience combining
discipline through martial arts with a focus on promoting excellence
in our students' physical, mental, and emotional lives. Our approach
is about self-discipline, self-respect, respect towards others, and most
of all, "honor." This class will teach each student that Martial Arts is
more than fighting; it is learning how to live. All students must be
in class on time, as punctuality and attendance are part of our
grading system. A black Karate Gi is required for the classes, so
please see the instructor.
Beginners
This class will focus on the fundamentals of Martial Arts, such as
blocking, kicking, and punching. They will also participate in discipline
and physical fitness training. They must meet all requirements before
moving on to the next class.
