Level 1-Beginning Guitar
This is an introduction for new students, focusing on the parts, proper
posture and technique, and the basics of music theory. Students will
explore how to read notes on the staff, tabs, and chord charts while
learning rhythm fundamentals. They'll practice right—and left-hand
exercises to develop key techniques such as finger-picking scales
and strumming, establishing a solid foundation for future growth.

Level 2 - Intermediate Guitar
Techniques & Styles
This level serves as a continuation of level 1 or admission through
audition. Students will expand and deepen their understanding of
guitar technique by learning diverse musical styles, including rock,
blues, flamenco, classical, and folk. The course builds upon skills in
level 1, expanding knowledge of music theory, scales, rhythm, and
fingerboard navigation. Material fees: TBD.

NEW Guitar Class
INSTRUCTOR: Bryan H.
LOCATION: Garvey Center
Beginners Guitar
This 60-minute class is tailored for individuals without prior
experience, offering a supportive and structured introduction to
guitar playing. Using the Guitar Method book 1 by Hal Leonard,
students will acquire fundamental chords, strumming techniques,
and pick usage, while playing along with beginner-friendly songs.
Class Requirements: Please bring a guitar and a copy of Guitar
Method book 1 by Hal Leonard.

Intermediate Guitar
This 60-minute intermediate-level guitar course is designed to educate
all intermediate playing techniques and build your musical knowledge
