CROCHET CLUB Ages 16+
3rd Friday of the Month, 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m
Location: Library Learning Center
Spend an hour crocheting and socializing with other crocheters with
the Signal Hill Crochet Club. Beginners are welcome. Bring your own
yarn, hooks, and projects. No registration required.
ZUMBA Ages 16+
August 26 - December 16
Tuesdays, 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Location: Library Community Room
Join us for Zumba at the library. Get a good workout with Latin and
International-inspired music and dance. This class is suitable for
attendees of all shapes and fitness levels. Wear comfortable shoes and
bring a towel and water bottle. Space is limited. Registration required.
SENSORY STORYTIME Ages 3- 5
Wednesday, September 3, 3:00 p.m. - 3:45 p.m.
Location: Library Children’s Area
Get ready for a sensory-enhanced story time featuring interactive,
adapted stories and tactile manipulatives to spark your child's
imagination. Perfect for young children and their caregivers, this
story time is all about engaging your senses and creating experiences
together in a welcoming, inclusive space. Space is limited. Registration
required.
PASS THE STICKS Ages 12-17
2nd Wednesday of the Month, 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Location: Library Learning Center
Each month, we’ll take on the challenge of conquering a new game
together. Game time is on a first-come first-served basis. Each player
gets a half-hour time slot, or until your game life has ended. Then pass
the controllers to the next person.

SPOOKY PHOTOSHOOT WORKSHOP
Ages 16+
Saturday, September 13, 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.
Location: Library Community Room
Join celebrity photographer Anabel DFlux for a
workshop on spooky photography! Anabel will
guide you in using lighting techniques to create a
mysterious atmosphere. Discover practical tips and
effects to achieve a dark, eerie impact with just one
click of the shutter. Please bring your own camera
to the event. This program is sponsored by Sammy’s

The Open Studio makerspace will provide access to specialized
equipment and opportunities to learn from experts, practice skills and

Join Kiddle Karoo's pirate crew for a musical adventure! Kids will learn
to talk like pirates, meet a giant parrot, and swim through bubbles.

EDIBLE GARDENING All Ages

Location: Library Community Room
Join us and the Water Replenishment District (WRD) to learn how
to create a thriving edible garden. We’ll explore topics like growing
vegetables and herbs in planters, improving soil health, mastering
irrigation techniques, and planning for year-round harvests. Empower
yourself with the skills to boost your family’s nutrition! Registration
