Join us this summer at Descanso Gardens! Explore 150 acres of lush gardens,
scenic trails, and vibrant native flowers. Don’t miss the beauty of the woodlands
and colorful blooms. Participants must return to the bus by 2:30 p.m. for the
ride back to Signal Hill. Lunch is not included, but a café and picnic tables are
available. Wear comfortable shoes and get ready for an unforgettable adventure!

Explore the history of Southern California at Heritage Square Museum, where you
can learn about the region's development during its first century of statehood.
The museum features eight restored Victorian-era structures that were saved
from demolition, educating visitors about everyday life in Southern California
from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. Experience history coming
to life at Heritage Square Museum!
Please note that the trip cost does not include lunch. You are welcome to bring
a picnic and enjoy it on the spacious grassy lawn. We recommend wearing
comfortable walking shoes for your visit. Participants must return to the bus by
3:00 p.m. for the ride back to Signal Hill.

depart from the Signal Hill Public Library parking lot. Registration
for all senior excursions take place at the Parks, Recreation and
Library Services; registration dates listed with each trip.

Join us for a delightful and unforgettable day, beginning at the beautiful Rogers
Garden. Explore charming boutiques and quaint shops, each offering a unique
selection of treasures. Followed by Balboa Island! We will be visiting the Balboa
Fun Zone, which is located on Balboa Peninsula, across from Balboa Pier off
Balboa Blvd. Here, you can stroll around, find a delicious place to eat, shop, and
enjoy the beautiful views.
Participants must return to the bus by 3:00 p.m. for the ride back to Signal Hill.
The trip cost does not include lunch. We recommend wearing comfortable
walking shoes.

Join us for a fun day at the OC Fairgrounds! Enjoy a variety of free art exhibits,
explore animal and agriculture areas, and experience community entertainment.
There will be numerous shopping vendors, talented artisans, and delicious food
options available.
Participants must return to the bus by 3:00 p.m. for the ride back to Signal Hill.
The trip cost does not include lunch. We recommend wearing comfortable
walking walking shoes.
MATINEE MOVIE • Irvine Spectrum

Join us for a Matinee Movie Day! We will watch a movie, and afterward, you'll
have free time to go to lunch and shop at Irvine Spectrum Mall. The movie title
will be announced as the date approaches. Please note that the trip cost does not
include lunch. We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes.
Participants must return to the bus by 3:00 p.m. for the trip back to Signal Hill.
