EMERGENCY FOOD
Emergency food is available on a case by case basis
to the community. The emergency food is mostly
canned food items donated by the community
and local businesses. Emergency food is given out
based on food availability.

Emergency shelter and referrals are available on
a case-by-case basis or when funds are available.

Host your next party here! The Teri G. Muse Family
Service Center has rooms available for meeting
or party rentals. The main Celebration Hall
accommodates up to 60 guests and has kitchen
access. The Meeting Room fits up to 20 guests. All
rentals include tables and chairs.

HYGIENE PROGRAM
The hygiene program is offered to individuals
and families. Eligible participants may receive
items such as toiletries, baby supplies, and any
other personal hygiene items that are available.
All hygiene items are available on a first come first
serve basis and individuals are eligible only once
per month. For additional information contact the
Family Service Center office.

REFERRAL OPPORTUNITIES
If you need any assistance receiving medical
care, the Teri G. Muse Family Service Center has
extensive referral resources available including
phone numbers and addresses to local medical
clinics, 24-hour urgent care facilities, and County
Health Clinics. We also provide information
regarding dental assistance for children, vision
care, and women’s health.

California Mental Health Connection is a nonprofit
support group that helps individuals and families
to provide therapy for victims of crime and care for
those who suffer from mental illness with complex
trauma, and/or co-occurring disorders to alleviate
emotional pain.
The following services are provided by the California
Mental Health Connection and individuals must
call the following number (626) 430-6197 for
appointments or questions.
•
Victims Assistance Program: This program
offers assistance with trauma that follows after
experiencing a crime. Many crime victims may
not realize they are entitled to financial assistance
to aid them during their recovery process.
•
Youth Art Program: For at risk youth
presenting the first signs of problems
at school, undergoing cyber bullying,
harassment, depression, negative influence.
Open group for 52 sessions.
•
Domestic Violence Groups: Our group is a
safe, non-threatening place for the domestic
victims to come share their pain, their
frustrations, and their abuse experience to heal
from toxic relations and become violence free.

Immigration Reports (U-VISA): If you have
been a victim of a crime, California Mental Health
Connection can assist you with your U-Visa process
by working with your immigration attorney or clinic
on your assessment reports, letters of support

professionals can provide you with.
