BALDWIN PARK DIAL-A-RIDE
TRANSPORTATION CARD
The Julia McNeill Senior Center coordinates
Dial-A-Ride Transportation, which is a curbside
transportation to Baldwin Park residents over
the age of 60 or disabled with a current doctor’s
certificaton. Must provide proof of residency by
presenting a current utility bill, picture I.D. and list
of medications.
WASTE MANAGEMENT
The Julia McNeill Senior Center in partnership with
Waste Management offers Senior Citizen discounts.
Senior citizen discounts are available to eligible
Single-Family Waste Management accounts. To
qualify, the occupant must be sixty (60) years or
older with valid proof of identification, provide a
current waste management statement, and must
be the head of their household.

Meet your fitness goals, join today!
This program is aimed to rejuvenate and invigorate
the physicality of the active community through:

Weight Management
The Fitness Program meets at the Esther Snyder
Community Center Gym, next door to the Julia
McNeill Senior Center.

CASE MANAGEMENT
The Julia McNeill Senior Center, in partnership
with the Asian Youth Center, provides case
management assistance to individuals 62 years or
older. Assistance includes linkages to resources for
mental health, food, housing, elder care, financial
needs, wellness workshops and much more.
Contact the Julia McNeill Senior Center to schedule
your appointment. Appointments are available on
the last Wednesday of each month.

CONGREGATE LUNCH PROGRAM
The Julia McNeill Senior Center in partnership with
the YWCA of San Gabriel Valley, and The County of
Los Angeles Area Agency on Aging provides a well-
balanced meal in a congregate meal setting. Lunch
is provided Monday through Friday and is served
at Noon. Registration begins at 9:30am and is on a
first come first serve basis. To qualify you must be
60+ years of age.
A $3.00 contribution per meal is welcomed, but is
strictly voluntary and confidential, you will not be
denied a meal if unable to contribute.

TAI CHI CLASS
This FREE class emphasizes the development and
manintenance of a healthy body through Tai Chi, an
ancient system of meditation and physical exercise.
All levels are welcome and must register at the
senior center front counter. Location is Morgan
Park, outdoor behind the GYM.

PARALEGAL SERVICES
Paralegal, Carlos Ramirez provides free
consultation services for Living Trust and Wills.
Mr. Ramirez is affiliated with various attorneys
for assistance. Depending on each case, further
services may require a fee. Visit or call the senior
center to schedule your appointment.
INTERNATIONAL SQUARE DANCING
Join us and learn a new style of dancing with origins
of ancient china. International square dancing
invites you to participate.

HOME DELIVERED MEALS
The YWCA also offers Home Delivered Meals
to those who are 60+ years of age and who are
homebound. The YWCA offers 7 frozen meals
weekly and includes milk, bread and fresh fruit. To
inquire about the Home Delivered Meal Program
contact the YWCA of San Gabriel Valley at (626)
214-9467 or email them at info@ywcasgv.org.
