weekly wellness calls to check-in, offer
resources, answer questions, and simply
say hello. Participants will receive calls on
their preferred weekday (M-TH) and time,
usually between 8:00 AM and 12:30 PM. A
relative may request the service on behalf
of someone, but the recipient may opt out
at any time. To register a loved one, call the
Recreation Division at (626) 403-2200.

Location: Community Center, Fireside Room
Come spend your mornings with neighbors, friends, and a hot cup of coffee at the Community
Center! Coffee and tea will be provided. Stay for a variety of organized activities like bingo,
chair volleyball, and lectures beginning at 10 AM. This program is for active adults ages 55+.
Registration is required.
Happy Hour: Harvest Hop

Get ready to gobble up the good times at our festive Harvest Hop! Join us for a lively evening
featuring light refreshments, wine, a live DJ spinning your favorite tunes, and exciting opportunity
drawings. Bring your friends, dancing shoes, and holiday cheer – this is one fall celebration you
won’t want to miss! Note: This event is partially funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. A
copy of your identification and a separate registration form will need to be completed in order
to participate. Registration is required.

Looking for a great way to connect with others and sharpen your mahjong skills? Join us for
Mahjong Open Play! Whether you’re a seasoned player or just getting started, all are welcome
to enjoy casual games, friendly conversation, and community fun. Registration is not
required.
Dial-A-Ride
Dial-A-Ride is a curb-to-curb transportation
service provided for San Marino residents
who are 60 years and older, or for those
under 60 years with a physician certified
disability that prevents the use of regular
public transit. To use this service, you must
apply for membership. The service is free
for residents of San Marino. For more

Step back in time and enjoy a charming fall getaway to the scenic foothills of historic Oak Glen
in Yucaipa. Our destination is Riley’s Farm, a working apple orchard and living historic site that
brings the 1770s to life. Participants will savor a hearty, family-style lunch at the Hawk’s Head
Tavern. The menu features chicken pot pie, gourmet macaroni and cheese, seasoned green
beans, fresh-baked Sally Lunn bread with butter, a crisp green salad, famous sweet apple crisp,
and bottomless beverages including lemonade, iced tea, coffee, and water. The day also includes
a scenic hayride and a fun, hands-on candle dipping activity. You’ll have time to explore the
grounds, stroll through the orchards, and shop in the charming country store. Don’t miss this
memorable day of history, food, and fall beauty. Registration is required.
Shop ‘till You Drop Holiday Shopping Shuttles

Time to get your holiday shopping out of the way! Active adults ages 55 and up are invited
to join us for a daytime shopping trip. Transportation will be provided. Registration is
