MUSEUM MAMAS: THE MAKING OF
MOMA
Who dares to open a museum of modern art as the world teeters
on the brink of a depression? Credentials, degrees, professional
status, artistic skills…none required. And yet, MOMA comes into
existence because of a generation of women who willed it to
be. Discover the power of a determined few; Rockefeller, Bliss,
Sullivan and Guggenheim, and the list goes on. Although, many
names are not recognizable, it is this collection of women who
bore the mantle of responsibility to build and curate the world-
class collection that is MOMA today.

PHOTO EDITING WITH IPHONE
PHOTOS APP
This beginner-friendly class provides essential editing tips
using the Photos App on the iPhone. The session covers how
to enhance brightness, color, and contrast, as well as how to
crop and straighten images, edit Live Photos, and experiment
with Portrait Mode possibilities. These tools make it easy to
transform any snapshot into a standout image. An iPhone with
iOS 18 installed is required. The instructor, Erin Manning, is a
professional photographer from Los Angeles, known for her
clear and friendly teaching style. She has hosted “The Whole
Picture” on DIY Network and HGTV and appeared on the Today
Show, The CBS Early Show, and ABC’s View from the Bay.

SOUND HEALING
Simply listen with eyes closed, as the gentle sounds from Tibetan
Singing Bowls, Rainsticks, Ocean Drums and Crystal Chimes are
played around participants bodies. Sound Healing, an ancient
healing practice that reduces stress, helps alleviate pain, clears
confusion, boosts immunity, and much more. All one needs to
do is just listen to feel deeply relaxed and re-energized, body,
mind, and soul.
